Useless Personal Facts...
- My car is called "Matilda". She's a 1995 Ford Fiesta Azura.
- At Junior and Secondary School, my House was Newton (after Sir Isaac Newton).
The colour assigned to the House was Red in my Junior School and Blue in my
senior school. I guess it was something of a precursor to Ravenclaw!
- I have a non-identical twin called Ruth. We're nothing alike at all. Anyone
who knows us in RL would vouch for that.
- I've seen Christopher Eccleston on stage in the play Hamlet - and
playing the title role, at that! - two years before he became the Doctor in
the phenomenally successful new Who series.
- I've so far owned five pet rats in the past, named (in chronological order)
Missie, Harry, Austin, Toffee and Treacle. I've also owned hamsters named
Sue, Joe, Max and Jake.
- The most times I've been to see one film at the cinema is 8 for Star
Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. That's followed by Star Wars:
Episode II - Attack of the Clones at 5 times, and Harry Potter &
the Prisoner of Azkaban at 4.
- I had horse riding lessons when I was 9 and got thrown off my pony twice
on two separate occasions
- I reckon that King Henry VII was one of England's greatest monarchs. I don't
care if his claim to the throne was tenuous or if his manner was more cautious
than chivalrous - he did a great job.
- I used to represent my senior school in athletics, doing discus, high jump
and various sprints.
- I hate liquorice.
- As well-written as Lord of the Rings is, I'd rather read Harry
Potter any day - it captures my imagination far better.
- I studied the Gungan language (ala Jar Jar Binks-speak) in my A Level English
Language coursework, and I got a good grade for it (my teachers would vouch
for me)
- I never minded wearing school uniform.
- I've met acting legend Christopher Lee twice - he's a real gentleman and
he deserves more acclaim for his work than what he's got, IMO.
- My first ever Pokémon was a Charmander named Firefang on the Pokémon
Blue game
- I've been Christened but I'm not really a Christian - I'm not a religious
person at all. Most of the British population aren't. I *do* believe that
there's 'something else' out there, but I don't know what that is.
- I got full-marks on the multiple choice section of my Driving Theory Test
