Handling
I've handled five of the six Belgian Tervuerens at Everquest,
and my winnings in the show ring so far include:
- 4th out of 10 in the Belgian Tervueren Open Dog
Class at Crufts 2008 (Jasper)
- 7th graded Excellent out of 39 dogs in
Open Class at the Belgian Shepherd "National d'Elevage", France
(Matisse)
- 1st in Junior Dog and RCC at NW&PB
(England) 2007 (Remus)
- 1st in Junior Dog and RCC at WELKS (England)
2007 ( Remus)
- 1st in Junior Dog at the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Ireland
Championship Show 2007 ( Remus)
- 3rd in YKC Stakes at Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales

- 2nd in Special Puppy Dog at Crufts 2007 (Remus)

and Best Puppy in Show at the Dutch Belgian Shepherd Dog

- 1st in Champion Class, CAC and CACIB
at Leiden International Dog Show, Holland 2007 (Matisse)
- Reserve Green Star on the Munster Circuit, Ireland 2006
(Tial'q)
I've also started to handle Belgian Shepherds for other people. So far, this
includes:
- Xanova Sir Galahad (from the Xanova
kennel) in the challenge for Best Tervueren at the Belgian
Shepherd Dog Club of Ireland Championship Show 2007, which he won, before
going on to Best in Show.
- Bergeau Paint A Rainbow (Bergeau)
at South Wales Championship Show (England) 2007, where we were placed 2nd
out of 5! I also handled her in the challenge at theWelsh
Kennel Club Champ' Show.
Remus and I have also completed the French CSAU in 2007(a
character test involving basic obedience), in which he acheived a pass grading
of "Very Good", and also participated in the French
CANT (sheep herding) which he failed because the sheep did
not interest him; he passed the obedience section with flying colours, though,
and was said by the judge to be "very playful"and not at all aggressive.
Hopefully Remus will qualify for the TAN during 2008, and also the s.R.
I am always willing to handle not only other peoples' Belgians, but other breeds,
too. If I'm at a dog show and available, feel free to ask me to handle for you
if need be. I only have experience handling Belgian Shepherds at present, but
am always willing to learn. I am particularly interested in being taught how
to handle Dobermanns. Please get in
touch if you'd like further information.

Obedience
I have trained both Remus (Bergeau Paint With Matisse
for Everquest) and Phoenix (Bergeau From
The Flames to Everquest) in basic obedience. My winnings so far are:
- 2nd in Pre-Beginners Obedience at the
Belgian Shepherd Dog Association of Great Britain Open Show 2007 (Remus)
- A "Very Good" grading in the CSAU
at the Belgian Shepherd National d'Elevage 2007 (a character test which involves
basic obedience; Remus)
I hope to do more work with the boys in future, time permitting.

Stewarding
I am always up to do a spot of stewarding, though haven't done as much as I'd
like. I have only stewarded so far at:
- Banbury & District Canine Society Open Show (Golden Retrievers;
Deerhounds; Great Danes)
Feel free to contact me about any future appointments.
I'll do my best to attend if I am available, and can make the destination.
