Basilisk - I was browsing a book about medieval bestiaries and saw a picture of a traditional basilisk, so had a go at sketching one. I just can't draw chickens... at least, not their heads. |

Cynocephali - Whilst I was taking notes for my medieval history coursework, I read about a race of people who were once believed to have existed in the East called the "Cynocephali". They were said to have the heads of dogs and communicated by barking. They sounded interesting, so I took a break from my work and decided to draw one. He looks suspiciously like a Belgian Shepherd... ;) |
