Use of Copyrighted Materials: To put it briefly, if I owned any of these things, I'd be making money, not dallying around on my laptop for hours building an ickle, fanwork-filled website. But, anyway...
The Lion King, Disney's Hercules and Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame all belong to Disney. Power Rangers once belonged to Saban, but now also belongs to Disney (or Buena Vista, or whatever they like to call themselves), whilst its Japanese counterparts, the Sentai series (Goesei Sentai Dairanger et al), belong to Toei Company Ltd. Star Wars is the brainchild of George Lucas, and is held under sturdy copyright by 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm Ltd., whilst J.K. Rowling owns everything Harry Potter-wise, as now claims Warner Brothers Pictures. Mr. Pratchett keeps his mits firmly on the Discworld, Mainframe Entertainment once possessed the wonderful world of ReBoot, though I'm not certain who does now, and the BBC, the lucky devils, own that glorious Time Lord from the programme Doctor Who. 20th Century Fox also owns The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, the X-Men movies, and Quills (the latter is also with Fox Searchlight Productions), and I believe it's Universal that holds sway over the 1998 movie Elizabeth. Finally, Square Enix are the lords and masters of the Final Fantasy series. I own none of them, don't claim to own any of them, have never even thought of buying shares in them, etc., etc.... I just use the creations of other people to further my own creative abilities and thank them for the pleasure they have given me. Please don't take this free privilege away.
As for King Henry VII, he was a real man, as was Richard III, Francis Walsingham, and every other historical figure. No one but history owns them, so I just pray the long deceased characters don't mind me writing "faction" about them.
Any problems, talk to me.
