Notes: Teased and cajoled by some prejudiced binomes, Codec unleashes his viral side in a frightening display.

Enzo placed his hand on Codec’s shoulder and shook his head. “Come on,” he said, nodding toward his sister’s diner, “let’s go.”

Codec stared at the mouthy binome who had insulted him before he then made to turn and leave, but as soon as his back was turned, the binome shot back at him again with, “Yeah, run you viral scum. It’s what your type does best.”

And it was then that Codec lost control. He just felt the anger rise like a searing heat through his body and a red mist fell before his eyes. With an animalistic roar, reminiscent of his sire’s, he then simply rushed full-on at the binome with the full intent of doing as much harm as he could!

The binome was clearly shocked by this sudden change in Codec’s character, but was too slow and cumbersome to evade the boy as he thundered in and held him up by his tiny legs.

Enzo gaped in horror as he watched this terrifying display, seeing the young sprite-come-virus effortlessly lift the binome off the floor. But things were to get much worse as Codec then held his fist back, ready to strike, and bursting from out of his knuckles, in a true legacy of his father, came three, almighty, long claws!

Enzo yelped and was suddenly reminded that Codec was truly part virus…

“Cody!” he yelled. “Stop it!”
