Matisse, or "TC" (Top Cat), was one of the friendliest dogs you could ever have dreamed of knowing. He was affectionate, gentle, and well-mannered, and had a heart as big as his massive, thick coat! (This all changed, however, when a ball produced itself and he was raring to go, slobbering away!).

I handled Matisse several times in Europe where we enjoyed much success -- I handled him to the last two of his four CACIBs in Holland, and thus made him up to his Dutch title, which was a fantastic experience! I also handled him at the 2007 French Specialty and occasionally took him into the ring in the UK.

TC sired two litters during his lifetime, both to Bergeau Just Like a Rainbow ("Poppy"). Remus and many other wonderful puppies came from the first litter, and the second litter are progressing nicely, too (see Bergeau Tervuerens for details).

Rest in Peace our beautiful boy - you never deserved to die so young. Have fun playing at Rainbow Bridge with your Uncle Flash.
